This is for the PTI March Blog Hop. The challenge this month was to create your own patterend paper. For this card, I used 2 different stamp sets to create two patterened papers. I was able to use the customize the colors in each paper to create the look I wanted.
For the other paper, I used the Polka Dot Basics set and stamped the outline dot in Ripe Avocado. I used the solid dot to stamp inside the outline with the same colors used in the striped paper.
I made the card base from Spring Moss and matted my patterned paper with Ripe Avocado. The main image uses a double-circle from Borders and Corners and I masked the top and bottom to leave room for my "Birthday Girl." She's from a clear set by Inkadinkadoo. Finally, I threaded a piece of Ocean Tides satin ribbon through a Foofala button that is pretty close match to the Spring Moss cardstock. I'm pretty happy with result!
Here's a closeup of the sentiment:
Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI Spring Moss, Ripe Avocado, White
Ink: PTI Spring Moss, Ripe Avocado, Ocean Tides, Pallet Landscape

Kudos on such a super job w/Faux Ribbon. I have that set - love the sentiments - hate the "ribbon" part. I can never get it together.
